Corey Pickering is a seasoned safety professional currently serving as the Regional Safety Officer at Viacore Solutions since July 2023, a role previously held at Belterra until its rebranding. With extensive experience in health and safety, Corey held the position of Regional Health and Safety Officer for the Midwest at Belterra from March 2018 to July 2023, and prior to that, served as a Health and Safety Coordinator from April 2003 to April 2018, focusing on record keeping, training, policy review, and developing safe work plans. Additionally, Corey has been the Head Instructor at Jishin Martial Arts since March 2014, teaching Shotokan Karate. Corey's earlier experience includes working as a conveyor belt technician, specializing in installation and troubleshooting. Education was completed at Lindsay Thurber Composite in 1986-1987.
