Semyon T. has a strong background in software engineering and data management. Semyon currently serves as the DevOps Team Lead at Via. Prior to that, they worked at Nostromo Energy as the Head of Software R&D and DataOps, where they collaborated with energy and engineering specialists and built offshore and local teams. Before that, Semyon worked at FrontStory as a Senior Developer, where they were responsible for architecture and design, production and staging environments, and the development of various real-time applications and data pipelines. Semyon also has experience as a Software & Data Engineer at Zira, where they focused on Industrial IoT data infrastructure. Earlier in their career, Semyon worked in roles such as Organization & Methods Engineer at Tempo Beverages Ltd and Operations Manager in the retail industry.

Semyon T. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering Information Systems from Ruppin Academic Center, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Semyon also obtained several certifications from edX in 2016, including a XSeries Certificate of Achievement in Data Science & Data Engineering with Spark, a Verified Certificate in Big Data Analysis with Apache Spark, a Verified Certificate in Distributed Machine Learning with Apache Spark, and a Verified Certificate in Introduction to Apache Spark.
