Bob Purcell is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive and cleantech sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at VIA Motors since March 2015, Bob is also the Founder and President of Purcell & Associates, LLC, providing investor advisory services with notable clients including Berkshire Hathaway and Delphi Automotive. Between 2010 and 2014, Bob held senior leadership roles at Protean Holdings Corporation, contributing to in-wheel electric drive technology, and served as a Board Director at Boston-Power Inc, where Bob developed strategies for lithium-ion battery products. Prior experience includes significant roles at General Motors, where Bob was instrumental in global technology and product planning, as well as leading the Advanced Technology Vehicles Group. Bob holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Indiana University and completed an Executive Development program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
