Eric van den Borst has extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Eric started their career in 1992 as a vestigingsmanager at Start, where they worked until 2007. In 1995, they joined Start People as an Area Manager and later became a Vestigingsmanager. In 2000, Eric joined start uitzendbureau as a vestgingsmanager until 2007. Eric then became the owner/director of Selectieff, specializing in the recruitment and selection of financial professionals. In 2008, Eric began working at VIA Logistics Professionals as the Managing Director, where they specialize in the recruitment of high-level professionals in supply chain and logistics. In 2013, they became a Partner at VIA Academy, where they provide training and career development support for professionals in the logistics and supply chain field.

Eric van den Borst attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on HEAO-CE Hogeschool Eindhoven. In 2022 and 2023, they pursued further education at UMIO | Maastricht University in the field of Bedrijfskunde.
