Federico Oliaro has a diverse work experience, spanning various industries and roles. Federico started their career as a Trainee at Hexagon Metrology in 2008. Federico then worked as a Business Analyst at I3P - Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico Torino from 2011 to 2013, where they scouted and edited business plans for innovative start-ups. Concurrently, they were also a Co Owner at BeonD S.r.l., a start-up focused on designing and assembling prototype vehicles for urban mobility, where they handled business development and strategic planning from 2011 to 2014.
Moving forward, Federico worked at Faiveley Transport from 2013 to 2016, serving as a Commodity Buyer, Project Buyer in the R&D department, and Global Project Buyer. Federico then joined Magneti Marelli in 2016 as a Project Buyer until 2019.
In 2019, Federico joined Bosch Italia, specifically VHIT SpA, as a Commodity Buyer Team Leader until 2020. Federico was later promoted to VHIT SpA - Purchasing Direct Material Group Leader (Purchasing Manager) from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Purchasing and Supplier Quality at VHIT, starting from May 2023, after the company became part of Weifu High Technology Group Co., Ltd. in November 2022.
Federico Oliaro is currently a candidate for an Executive MBA at the SAA - School of Management, Università di Torino, starting in 2022. Federico previously attended Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Management, with a specialization in industrial management, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2009, they earned a Bachelor's degree in logistics and production engineering, with a focus on industrial management, from Politecnico di Torino. In addition, they obtained the IELTS certification from the British Council in October 2007.
