Galina S. has extensive experience in analytics, research, and fundraising within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Analytics and Research at VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation since January 2021, previous roles include Associate Director of Fundraising Research and Analysis and Administration Manager for Philanthropy. Prior to this, Galina S. worked at the Justice Education Society of BC from November 2016 to December 2020, managing projects in Guyana and overseeing project development, monitoring, and financial management. Galina S. also held positions at the International Rescue Committee, where responsibilities included grants coordination and proposal development, as well as functioning as Grants and Finance Manager for the Russian Justice Initiative/Astreya. Galina S. has a Master’s Degree in Political Science from The University of British Columbia and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
