Elise Tunakan, MBA has a varied work experience, beginning with their studies as a student at the University of Nebraska in 2008. Elise then completed a summer internship at Cargotec Corporation in 2011, followed by an internship with TA&R at Nelnet in 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Consultant at Cerner Corporation, and then moved to Kids TLC in 2015, where they were a member of the Young Advisory Board. In 2017, they became a Clinical Analyst II at Shriners Hospitals for Children, and most recently in 2021, they took on the role of Project Manager at VFP Consulting.

Elise Tunakan, MBA obtained their High School Diploma from Shawnee Mission West High School in 2008. Elise then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained a Business Administration degree with a minor in Theirtory in 2012. In 2015, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Kansas Graduate School of Business, with a focus in Management and Leadership. In 2018, they obtained an additional MBA certification from the University of Kansas Graduate School of Business.
