Julian Wong began their career as a Lab Assistant for CS61c (Machine Structures) and CS10 (The Beauty and Joy of Computing) in 2014. In 2013, they were an intern for the Technology and Publicity Branch at Reach: Recruitment and Retention Center, where they modified the primary website's functionality and updated social media to increase publicity and publicize events. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services. In 2021, they became a Web Engineer at Robinhood, and in 2022 they are currently a Software Engineer at Veza.

Julian Wong earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 2012 and 2016.
