John Basso is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in program management and engineering. Currently serving as a Program Manager in the GPMO ATZ division at Microsoft since August 2018, Basso also holds the position of Program Executive at Vexcel, where leadership is provided for a significant multi-year program aimed at supporting counter-terrorism initiatives. Prior to these roles, Basso worked at Raytheon Company for nearly 25 years, with expertise in command and control systems for air and missile defense, transitioning from engineering to program management. Basso's career began in the US Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal from September 1977 to September 1981. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Computer Science from Clarkson University and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts - Mathematics from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.
