Sam Mackoff has a diverse work experience in the music and media industry. Sam is currently the Director of Artist & Label Relations at Vevo, a position they have held since April 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Manager and Manager of Artist & Label Relations at Vevo from March 2021 to April 2022 and from March 2019 to March 2021, respectively. Before joining Vevo, Sam served as an Associate Manager of Artist & Label Relations at Vevo from May 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, they were an Executive Assistant in the Content & Programming department at Vevo from January 2017 to April 2018. Before their time at Vevo, Sam worked as a Freelance Fulfillment Coordinator at Pop2Life from August 2016 to November 2016. Sam started their career in the music industry as a Branded Content Intern at Viacom from May 2015 to August 2015. Sam also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Billboard from June 2014 to August 2014 and as a Production Intern at Sirius XM Radio Inc. from June 2013 to August 2013.

Sam Mackoff attended Syracuse University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in The Bandier Program for Recording and Entertainment Industries, with a minor in Marketing. Sam was also enrolled in the College of Visual and Performing Arts within Syracuse University. In 2015, they spent some time at the CEA Barcelona Center. In 2020, Sam Mackoff obtained certifications from YouTube, including YouTube Certified in YouTube Music and YouTube Channel Growth.
