Jeffrey Sutherland is a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry with over 15 years of experience. Currently serving as the AVP and Regional Underwriting Manager at Veterans First Mortgage since June 2009, Jeffrey manages a team of seven underwriters and oversees underwriting standards for VA, FHA, and USDA loan programs. Responsibilities include managing underwriting escalation issues, approving power of attorney documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Jeffrey worked as a VA/FHA Loan Processor and held positions at Zions Bancorporation and the University of Utah Federal Credit Union, where skills in loan origination, processing, and client support were honed. Education includes a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
