Taylor Brown

Lab Manager

Taylor Brown currently serves as Lab Manager at the Veterans Curation Program, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Taylor worked as an Archaeology Assistant at the Florida Public Archaeology Network and as an Archival Research Aide at the UWF Historic Trust. Taylor's extensive experience includes roles as Graduate Collections Assistant and Terrestrial and Maritime Field School Supervisor at the University of West Florida, and Lab Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at the Smith’s Island Archaeology Project. Prior experience also encompasses positions at The Montpelier Foundation, Clars Auction Gallery, and St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, contributing to a solid foundation in archaeology and historical research. Taylor holds a Master of Arts in Historical Archaeology from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from Saint Mary's College of California, complemented by a study abroad experience in Archaeology at University of Galway.
