Ryan Fischer has a strong background in laboratory operations and management. Ryan is currently working as a Laboratory Operations Manager at Novoron Bioscience. Prior to this, they worked at Salimetrics, LLC, where they started as a Tech Support Specialist/Research Associate in January 2021 and eventually became the Testing Lab Manager. In this role, they performed ELISA based testing, managed incoming studies, and maintained order/testing schedules.
Before transitioning to the scientific field, Ryan worked in the bar industry. Ryan served as a Bar Manager at Craft & Commerce from October 2011 to March 2015. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Bar Manager at The Patterson House from September 2009 to September 2011. Ryan started as a bar-back and was eventually promoted to bartender and assistant manager. At The Patterson House, they oversaw daily general management functions and created recipes for house-made syrups, bitters, and cordials.
In addition, Ryan gained experience as a Bartender at The Hill Tavern from June 2007 to December 2009. Ryan began as a doorman and quickly advanced to various positions, including host, server, bartender, and shift manager. Ryan managed the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, including opening duties, handling cash drawers, inventory management, floor staff management, and bartending.
Ryan Fischer has a diverse education history. In 2004, they enrolled at Berklee College of Music and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2008. Following that, in 2013, they attended San Diego Miramar College and pursued a Biotechnology Certificate in the field of Biotechnology. Ryan furthered their education in 2014 by earning a Certificate of Performance in Biotechnology from the same institution. Ryan also holds an additional certification in Biotechnology from Miramar College, specifically a Certificate of Performance.
