Amber Hansen has extensive work experience in the veterinary industry. Amber started their career at Central Animal Hospital in 2005 as a Front Desk Administrator/Technician. In 2011, they joined Melrose Animal Clinic as a Certified Veterinary Technician. In 2012, they started working at VetCor, where they held various roles including Practice Support Coordinator, CapEx and Vendor Program Manager, and Vice President of Procurement. Currently, they work as a Veterinary Industry Consultant.

Amber Hansen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Project Management and Management & Leadership, from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional (CFVP) from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) in 2022, Fear Free Certified from Fear Free, LLC in 2021, and Certified Veterinary Technician from the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association in 2012.
