Karla Cruz Gonzalez is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and process management, currently serving as Manager of Process Engineering in the Foundry Division at Vesuvius since January 2017. With a background that includes roles as Project Manager Manufacturing and Product Development Engineer, Karla focuses on foundry product development and technical competence in formulation and materials testing. Previously, Karla worked at KBR, Inc. as an Expeditor and Process Engineer, where important contributions included the design of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and project tracking for procurement. Earlier experience includes a role as a Quality Analyst at Embotelladoras ARCA, responsible for ensuring production quality through extensive testing. Academically, Karla holds an MSc(Eng) in Environmental and Energy Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Aut贸noma de Nuevo Le贸n.
