Lars Barsøe has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Lars started their career in 1984 as an Assistant Attache Commercial at the Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore. Lars then worked as a Sales & Marketing Director at BCI A/S from 1990 to 1995. Lars then joined CAD Kompagniet A/S as a Sales Manager from 1995 to 1998.
Lars further expanded their career at Agnitio A/S, where they worked as a Partner/Manager from 1995 to 2003. Lars played a significant role in developing new ways of communication and tracking performance for major pharmaceutical and industrial clients.
From 2003 to 2004, Lars served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Cellpoint. Lars then moved on to FOSS, where they held various positions. Notably, Lars worked as an International Sales Coach from 2004 to 2006, followed by serving as the General Manager responsible for sales and customer support activities in Scandinavia from 2006 to 2007. Lars later became the International Business Manager, overseeing regional sales development across various markets from 2008 to 2009.
Currently, Lars is employed at Vestergaard Company A/S. Lars initially joined as a Sales Manager in 2009 and eventually advanced to the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, overseeing market development, marketing, communication, and new market initiatives for the company's products.
Throughout their career, Lars has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, regional management, coaching, and international business development.
Lars Barsøe holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington State University, which they obtained from 1980 to 1982. Lars also completed a Diploma in Sales Leadership from Mercuri Sales Leadership in 2008-2009. Additionally, they have completed a Post-Secondary VET Program in Business Administration and Management from Købmandsskolen, København, and obtained a Nysproglig Studentereksamen degree in Humaniora from Haderslev Katedralskole.
