Troels Nielsen is a Senior Specialist at Vestas, focusing on composite recycling and material sustainability within the sustainability team of the Innovation & Management office since January 2020. Prior to this role, Troels served as a Cluster Technology Specialist, emphasizing sustainability and advanced materials in the Innovation & Concepts department. Troels has been an Examiner for engineering education in Denmark at Censornet since April 2014, with expertise in areas such as Oil and Gas, physical chemistry, and wastewater technology. At Teknologisk Institut, Troels held multiple roles, including Technology Manager, Section Manager, Product Manager, and Consultant, where responsibilities ranged from business development to project management and consultancy in the oil and gas industry. Troels also gained research experience at Aalborg University and teaching experience in secondary education. Troels holds a Master of Engineering in Chemistry from Aalborg University, earned in 2009.
