Chris Rogers is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in renewable energy development at Vestas, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Development. As the founder and leader of the North American development arm, Steelhead Americas LLC, Chris oversees a robust portfolio of over 2,500MW in development projects. Previous roles include Vice President of Development, Senior Director of Development, and Director of Commercial Operations and Strategy, where Chris managed large-scale sales efforts and negotiations, notably securing Vestas' largest global order of 570MW in Mojave, CA. Chris's career began in outdoor recreation as a white water rafting guide and part-time brewer, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
