Robin van den Berg began their work experience as a Tutor in a variety of classes, where they helped high school students understand course material in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics. They also provided guidance on planning schoolwork and preparing for exams.
Afterwards, they worked as an Assistant Teacher at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden, giving 3-day classes to high school students and guiding them on how to study for their final exams. They emphasized the importance of equipping students with a framework for handling questions.
Following that, Robin became a Tutor of Academic Skills at the University of Amsterdam. In this role, they guided first-year students in finding their place at the university and taught them academic skills such as presenting, writing, and reading academic papers. They also helped students with personal problems and assisted in setting up academic research.
Currently, Robin is working as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at Vesper.
Robin van den Berg holds an impressive education history. In 2011, they completed their Gymnasium degree at Zaanlands Lyceum, with a focus on NG - NT (Natural Sciences - Physics and Mathematics). Following this, Robin attended the University of Amsterdam from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Minor in Ancient Studies from 2018 to 2019.
Robin continued their education at the University of Amsterdam, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computational Science from 2019 to 2021. Their academic journey further expanded as they pursued a Master of Science in Data Science - Information Studies at the same university from 2021 to 2023.
In addition to their academic achievements, Robin obtained the Cambridge English: Proficiency certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in April 2016.
