Rick Saletta

Head of Product Marketing at Veryfi

Rick Saletta has a diverse work experience in marketing and strategy roles. Rick is currently working as a Fractional CMO and Contract Marketing & Strategy Executive at Saletta Solutions. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of NFLWeather.com, a news and content syndication site catering to fantasy sports and gaming markets. Rick also worked as a Strategic Marketing Consultant at EPAM Systems, contributing to sales pursuit teams in various industries. Additionally, they held positions as a Senior Sales Marketing Executive at Ople, Chief of Marketing at a stealth consumer encryption start-up, and in the Innovation Technology Lab at Verizon Wireless, where they focused on IoT and smart home device integration strategy. Rick also worked in product marketing at NetApp and served as the Vice President of World Wide Marketing at Vitria Technology, where they repositioned the company in the emerging market of Operational Intelligence. Rick was also the Vice President of Corporate and Product Marketing at SQLstream, Inc., which was later acquired by Guavus. Furthermore, they served as the Marketing and Product Management Director at ActiveGrid, Wavemaker, and VMware. In this role, they were responsible for restarting and ramping up marketing efforts for the grid software company.

Rick Saletta has an extensive education history. Rick completed their MBA in Finance & Economic Strategies from Yale School of Management from 1994 to 1996. In the same year, 1994, they also pursued Accounting studies at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Before that, from 1990 to 1992, they obtained an M.Ed. in Organization & Policy Studies from the University of Virginia. Their undergraduate degree, an A.B., was earned from Bowdoin College between 1987 and 1990, where they majored in History & Government and minored in English. Additionally, in 1988, they completed coursework at Dartmouth College in English & History. Prior to their college education, they attended Milton Academy from 1980 to 1986, where they earned a Diploma with a concentration in English and Writing.
