Sahar Jahish is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor/Coordinator at Verwey-Jonker Instituut since June 2022, Sahar's previous roles include Online Communications Officer at Free Press Unlimited and Marketing Communications Specialist at Stichting Nederlands Debat Instituut. Additional experience includes positions as a Communications Advisor at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland and Stichting voor Vluchteling-Studenten UAF, as well as a Communications Consultant with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Prior to these roles, Sahar worked as a freelance journalist for SJ Mediaproductions. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Media, Communications and Public Relations from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg.
