Jeff Marcom has a diverse work experience, starting from their current position as a Solutions Architect at Ververica, the original creators of Apache Flink®, since 2023. Before that, they worked at Amazon Web Services from 2016 to 2023, where they held multiple roles including Technical Account Manager, Senior Technical Account Manager, and Systems Development Engineer - Storage Gateway. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer at SimpliVity Corporation from 2013 to 2015. Jeff also worked as a Senior Server Software Engineer at Canonical Ltd. from 2012 to 2013, as a Software Engineer at Emulex from 2011 to 2012, and as an EMULEX Device Driver/Firmware package Engineer at CTG/EMULEX from 2010 to 2011. Jeff'searlier work experience includes roles as a Software Test Engineer and Engineer at IBM from 2007 to 2010, and as a Support Analyst at LabCorp from 2006 to 2007.

Jeff Marcom earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Bellevue University from 2011 to 2012. Jeff also obtained a Puppet Professional 2015 Certification from Puppet Labs, Inc. in April 2015 and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022.
