Ashleigh Thomas has a diverse work experience in various marketing and retail roles. Ashleigh started their career at Tesco as an Optical Assistant in 2007 and worked there until 2013. After that, they joined Advance Automated Systems Ltd as a Marketing Assistant for a few months in 2013. In 2014, they worked at Specsavers as an Optical Advisor (Domiciliary) for over a year. In 2015, Ashleigh held the position of Marketing Assistant at RMS Resource Management Solutions NE Ltd before joining Simon Bailes Peugeot as a Marketing Executive in the same year. Ashleigh worked at Simon Bailes Peugeot for three years before moving on to Vertu Motors plc. At Vertu Motors plc, they started as an Assistant Retail Marketing Manager in 2018 and then progressed to the role of Retail Marketing Manager in 2019. Ashleigh later became the Divisional Marketing Manager in 2022 and is currently in the position of Head of Premium Marketing since May 2023.
Ashleigh Thomas began their education at Teesside University in 2010, where they completed a BSc (Hons) in Media Studies, spanning from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, they participated in a summer course at Teesside University focusing on Marketing Insights. More recently, from 2021 to 2022, Ashleigh pursued further education at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, obtaining a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing.
Additionally, Ashleigh has pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2022, they obtained certifications in "Diploma in Professional Marketing", "The Digital Customer Experience", and "Innovation in Marketing" from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Ashleigh also received a certification in "Presenting Effectively" from Dale Carnegie Training in 2022. In 2022, they completed a certification in "Marketing and Digital Strategy" from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Prior to that, in 2021, they became a CIM Studying Affiliate Member.
Furthermore, Ashleigh has obtained several certifications prior to 2021. These include "Specialist Automotive Finance" from the Financial Conduct Authority in 2020, "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage in 2020, and "Google Digital Garage" in 2018.
