Frank Gao has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Frank started their career at Motorola Mobility in 2008 as a Design Quality Specialist and worked there until 2013. Frank then joined China Mobile Group Device Co., Ltd as a Product Quality Manager from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Director of Hardware Engineering at Beijing Pointstone Technology Co., Ltd until 2017. From 2017 onwards, they have been involved with Vertu, first as the R&D General Manager and later as the CTO.
Frank Gao graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including a proficiency degree in Advanced English from Duolingo in January 2016, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2013, a PMP certification from Project Management in an undisclosed date, and a Level Engineer certification from the Beijing Electrical Society with no specified date.
