Michalis Diakonikolis is a co-founder of Beyond Orbit since October 2021 and serves as the Innovation Programs Manager for VERTLINER since February 2023. Prior experience includes a Systems Engineer Intern role at Vertico from May 2022 to September 2022, focusing on a robotic concrete 3D printing system's implementation for lunar construction. Michalis also held the position of Local Lead for the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, managing various event aspects between June 2019 and October 2019. Additionally, a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Terra Spatium SA during July and August 2019 contributed to the miBeez project, an ESA-funded initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Astronautics & Space Engineering from Cranfield University and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly.
