Simon Badgett has worked in the software industry since 2006. Simon began their career as a Test Operator at Integra Technologies, LLC in 2006. In 2008, they joined Weatherford Laboratories, Inc as a Technical Advisor - SCAL, QC Specialist II - RCA, Core Evaluation Specialist - MICP, and Core Evaluation Specialist - Rel K. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Developer at Vertical Automation & Information Technology.

Simon Badgett attended Texas A&M University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics. Simon then attended the University of Houston from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. Simon continued their studies at the University of Houston, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science in 2021.
