Tim Gale, CPA, currently serves as the Manager of Tax Research at Vertex Inc. since September 2024. Prior to this role, Tim worked as a Senior Associate in Tax Digital Consulting at Grant Thornton LLP from December 2023 to September 2024 and held the position of Sales Tax Manager at NAES Corporation from 2019 to October 2023, overseeing US sales and use tax for multiple entities. Tim has extensive experience from various roles at Microsoft from 1999 to 2018, including Tax Process and Technology Group Manager, where complex international projects and US sales tax compliance were managed. Other relevant experiences include positions at Nordstrom, Intermec Technologies, and Deloitte Consulting Group. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Washington and has completed various professional training programs.
