Stephanie Franklin serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities include overseeing global human resources functions such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Prior to joining Vertex in August 2017, Stephanie held senior HR positions at Nuance Communications, focusing on healthcare and leading various HR operations, and at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where Stephanie managed HR business partnerships and talent development programs. With foundational HR experience at Procter & Gamble, supporting international businesses for over a decade, and earlier roles at Sara Lee Corporation and Western Kentucky University, Stephanie has built a robust career in human resources. Stephanie holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication/Psychology from Western Kentucky University and has further education from Cornell University.
