James Austin has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since June 2020. Prior to this role, James held the position of Medicinal Chemistry Research Associate at the same company and completed an Industrial Placement as a Synthetic Organic Chemist at GSK from August 2017 to September 2018. James holds a degree from the University of Reading, obtained between 2015 and 2019.
