Chad Jones, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Technology & Engineering Manager at Vertex Energy Inc. since April 2022, after previously holding the role of Production Unit Manager - Asset. Prior to Vertex Energy, Chad worked at Shell from August 2019 to March 2022 as Production Unit Manager - Asset, and also served as Production & TA/Projects Improvement Manager and Ensure Safe Production Focal Point. Chad's experience includes a consulting role at PetroLogistics, business planning at Shell, margin improvement engineering at Motiva Enterprises LLC, and staff process engineering at Valero Energy Corporation. Chad began the professional journey as a process engineer at Jacobs. Educationally, Chad holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, earned between 1994 and 1999.
