Maria Genduso, M.S., is an experienced outpatient therapist currently employed at Vertava Health since June 2021, following a similar role at Rolling Hills Hospital. Maria has a strong background in trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse counseling, and has provided individual crisis management and collaborated with treatment teams. Additionally, Maria has completed a behavioral health internship at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, where crisis interventions and counseling sessions were provided, and has internship experience from Lipscomb University. Earlier roles also include work as a mental health specialist, student worker, and customer service representative intern. Maria holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor's degree from Freed-Hardeman University.
