Random Blackburn has a work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. They started their career as a Sr. Software Programmer at Georgia Farm Bureau in 2001. They then worked as a Sr. Software Systems Programmer at San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools from 2003 to 2008. After that, Random worked as a Software Consultant at various companies including San Bernardino County Health & Human Services, Orange County Transportation Authority, PAREXEL, and City National Bank. In 2007, they joined Cagle Cartoons as a Software Consultant and remained in that role until 2014. They then worked as a Software Engineer at CACI International Inc from 2010 to 2015. Random's next role was a Senior Software Systems Engineer at Rays from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are working as a Sr. Software Engineer / Team Lead at Vertafore since 2018.

Random Blackburn attended Wright State University from 1988 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies. Additionally, Random has obtained certifications in React: State Management and Learning Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Developers from LinkedIn in 2019.
