Karen Nelsen currently serves as the Internal Audit Director at Versova since October 2023. Previously, Nelsen held the position of CFO and Consulting CFO at Hen Haven, LLC from April 2022 to October 2023, and Director of CFO Services at FROST, PLLC from March 2021 to April 2022. Nelsen's extensive career includes significant roles such as CFO for Topigs Norsvin USA and Norsvin USA, LLC, where contributions were made to the swine genetics industry, as well as CFO for Future Health, Inc., and AMVC Management Services, focusing on livestock production and veterinary management. Nelsen began the professional journey as a CPA at Ryun, Givens & Company, P.L.C., following a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Buena Vista University and studies in Biology at Iowa State University.
