Arthur van Dalen is an accomplished HSE Engineer at Versatec Energy BV since December 2017, with a rich background in the oil and gas sector. Prior to this role, Arthur van Dalen served as an Independent Consultant for the oil and gas and geothermal energy industries in 2017. From April 2002 to June 2017, various positions were held at the State Supervision of Mines, culminating in the role of deputy Head of the Engineering Department, where Arthur van Dalen contributed to the implementation of the Offshore Safety Directive in The Netherlands. A period as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission included providing technical advice for the directive as well. Prior experience also includes operations management at York Refrigeration and engineering roles at Shell. Arthur van Dalen holds a master’s degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned in 1984, along with a secondary education degree from Gereformeerde Scholengemeenschap Rotterdam.
