Ariel Nwokafor, MPH, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Public Health Advocate and Intern at Communities Against Substance Abuse (CASA). Following this, from 2009 to 2012, they served as Regional Administrative Lead/Manager at Imaging Healthcare Specialists. In 2012, they joined The Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Blacks (CCSB) as a Graduate Assistant and Co-Chair of the Student Subcommittee, where they played a crucial role in advising the Chancellor on issues affecting Black students, faculty, and staff. During this time, they also completed a Graduate Internship in Epidemiology at the American Cancer Society from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Support Associate at Tagnos, Inc. Ariel then joined ConcertoHealth in 2015 and held various roles including Business Applications Analyst and Senior Implementation Consultant. From 2018 to the present, Ariel has been working at Versalus Health, starting as Director of Client Services and currently serving as Senior Director of Client Services. Throughout their career, Ariel has demonstrated expertise in project management, operational efficiency, and data analysis.
Ariel Nwokafor has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois Chicago. Prior to that, Ariel completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Planning with a minor in African American Studies from UC San Diego. Additionally, Ariel has obtained a certification in Sales: Customer Success from LinkedIn in July 2020.
