Solutions Architect at Versa Networks

Robert Clay has extensive work experience in the field of network architecture and administration. Robert started their career as a Network Administrator/Sergeant in the U.S Army, where they coordinated data and voice communications for the Multinational Division Central-South in Iraq. After this, they joined Juniper Networks, where they held various roles including Resident Engineer, Resident Engineer Staff, and Senior Consultant Professional Services. In these roles, Robert provided support for Juniper's networking products and services, performed network designs, and assisted with hardware and software troubleshooting. Currently, they are working as a Solutions Architect at Versa Networks.

Robert Clay has a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Robert Clay has obtained several certifications in the field of networking. Robert received the CCIE-SP certification from Cisco Systems in October 2013. Robert also holds the CCIE R&S certification from Cisco Systems, which they obtained in April 2012. In terms of Juniper Networks certifications, they have the JNCIP-SEC certification (obtained in 2012) and the JNCIE-ENT certification (obtained in April 2010). Robert also holds the JNCIE-SP certification, which they achieved in February 2009.
