Torng-Lin (Taffy) Chen has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Lab Assistant role at The City College of New York Photography Lab in 2012. Torng-Lin (Taffy) then moved on to a Production Coordinator role at Casual Express Apparel in 2013. In 2015, they became a Music Together Center Director at Dance-Sing Time Inc. From 2016 to 2018, they held multiple roles at Priceline.com, including Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, and Associate Front End Developer. Torng-Lin (Taffy) then worked as a Software Engineer at Medidata Solutions in 2018. From 2019 to present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Better.com. Currently, they are a Staff Software Engineer at VERO.

Torng-Lin (Taffy) Chen began their educational journey in 2001, when they attended WenZao Ursuline University of Languages, where they earned a High School + Associate of Art in French Language and Literature in 2006. In 2008, they enrolled at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Fashion Studies in 2010. Torng-Lin (Taffy) then attended The City College of New York, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Studio Arts, General in 2013. In 2017, they obtained a PostCSS: First Look certification from Lynda.com.
