Kate Armstrong is an experienced leader in risk management and governance, currently serving as Director and Risk Committee Chair at TSB New Zealand since February 2024, and as Director and Chair of the Board Audit and Risk Committee at Vero Insurance New Zealand since May 2020. Kate also holds the role of Director, Trustee, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Housing Foundation since December 2017. Previous experience includes serving as a Statutory Officer with the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand and various leadership positions at Westpac New Zealand Limited, including Chief Operating Officer for Consumer Banking & Wealth. Kate possesses a comprehensive background in financial services, operational management, and strategic planning, supported by a dual degree in Law and Arts from Victoria University of Wellington.
