Curtis Perlman is an experienced professional in the property appraisal and tax appeal industry. Currently serving as Assessor for Vernon Township since January 2022 and as Owner of CAMA Consultants, LLC since November 2021, Curtis has a strong background in property tax consulting. Previously, Curtis held the position of Trustee for the Lincolnshire Riverwoods Fire Protection District from June 2019 to May 2022 and was the former Owner of The Property Tax Department, LLC, co-founding it after selling a major property tax appeal law firm in Lake County, Illinois, in 2014. Additional experience includes ownership of Lake County Appeal, LLC from August 2007 to March 2015 and serving as Vice President and Project Manager at Empeco Custom Builders from January 1998 to July 2009. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Technology from Purdue University.
