María José Escalante is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in IT project management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Verndale since October 2022, María José previously managed IT projects at Oshyn and held multiple roles at Verndale, including IT Project Manager and R&D Project Manager. With a strong background in managing agile projects, budget control, and team leadership, María José has proven expertise in coordinating and delivering complex initiatives. Prior experience includes managing the IT Solutions Department at Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social and IT Analyst roles at Moderna Alimentos and the Ministerio de Inclusión Económica y Social. María José holds a Master's degree in Information Systems & Technology from the University of Michigan and is pursuing a Master's degree in Economics and Business Management from Flacso.
