Shannon O'Neill

Shannon O'Neill has extensive experience in various roles within academic institutions and organizations. Shannon currently holds the position of Executive Director of Workforce and Professional Education at Vermont State University. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Training and Development at SPARC Associates. Shannon also worked at Albion College as the Associate Dean for Student Success, where they implemented systems and services to support student success. Shannon held multiple roles at Brown University, including Associate Dean of the College for Junior/Senior Studies and Dean for Recovery/Substance-Free Initiative, where they enhanced academic and co-curricular programs. Shannon also served as the Director of the Bowman Center for Women at Siena College and as a Lecturer in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Shannon began their career as an HIV Substance Abuse Trainer at the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York and worked as a Workplace Analyst at Sepler & Associates.

Shannon O'Neill holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from St. Catherine University. Shannon also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social-Personality Psychology from the University at Albany, SUNY. Shannon O'Neill has completed The AoEC Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach from Gallup in March 2023.
