Vigfús Jósefsson is a Resource Manager and Group Lead in Mechanical Engineering at Verkís Consulting Engineers since June 2011, specializing in project and design management in geothermal energy, district heating, and applied fluid dynamics. Additionally, Vigfús served as a Teacher at the University of Iceland from January 2014 to June 2017, instructing an undergraduate course in thermodynamics and heat transfer. Prior experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur from May 2007 to September 2010, focusing on district heating and wastewater management, as well as participation in the Research Master program at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Educational qualifications include a Research Master in Fluid Dynamics from the von Karman Institute, and two M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the University of Iceland, both completed between 2009 and 2011.
