Latheef Syed is an accomplished executive leader in Data & Analytics, currently serving as Associate Vice President at Verizon since March 2006, specializing in Data and AI products, governance, and engineering. Syed has held various key positions at Verizon, including Executive Director and Senior Director roles, where responsibilities included leading AI and analytics strategies, data product engineering, and governance across multiple business units. Prior experience includes data engineering roles at Collabera Inc., Lucent Technologies, Metamor Software Solutions, and the Maryland Department of Health, where Syed developed expertise in data architecture, machine learning, and business intelligence. Syed holds two MBA degrees from The University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Madras.
