Juan Carlos Santisteban has a long history of working in the business sector. Juan Carlos began their career in 1997 as Jefe de Caja y Tesorería at COSAPI S.A. In 2005, they became Gerente Comercial at Financiera Multivalores S.A. In 2007, they assumed the role of Gerente País - Perú at Empleos.net. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as Gerente de Ventas and Gerente de Producto APTiTUS.com at El Comercio. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have been the CEO, Gerente General, and Director Comercial at Veritrade.

Juan Carlos Santisteban received their Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad de Lima between 1992 and 1998. Juan Carlos then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INCAE Business School between 2003 and 2005.
