Matthieu Engelbrecht has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and sectors. Matthieu began their career as an Ouvrier at VINCI in 2009 before moving on to work as a Conducteur de travaux at Paris Ouest construction in 2010. In 2011, they worked as an Analyst at DTZ and then as a Consultant in strategy at Ratp Dev in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant at Ernst & Young Advisory. Matthieu then joined SNCF CONSULTING as a Senior Consultant from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Matthieu serves as the Chief of Staff and Strategy Planning Director at Verisure, a role they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they were a Strategy Manager at Verisure from 2018 to 2022.

Matthieu Engelbrecht obtained a Master's degree in Civil work from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Matthieu then pursued a Mastere Spécialisé in Strategic management at HEC Paris from 2011 to 2012.
