Marcus Harnisch has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Marcus started their career in 1995 as an ASIC Design Engineer at Heinrich-Hertz-Institut Berlin, where they worked until 1998. Marcus then joined MikroM GmbH as an ASIC Design Engineer, focusing on SDRAM memory controllers and system administration. In 2000, Marcus joined LSI Logic as a Senior ASIC Design/Verification Engineer, working on various projects such as ARM SoC, DDR memory interfaces, and power management. Marcus moved to Schleicher-Electronic in 2004, where they served as a Project Manager and Software Engineer. Their next role was at Doulos Ltd, where they worked as a Senior Consultant from 2006 to 2012. Currently, Marcus is employed at Verilab GmbH as a Design Verification Engineer, starting from 2013.

Marcus Harnisch completed their education in the field of Electrical Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin. Marcus earned a Dipl.-Ing degree from the institution, studying there from 1989 to 1999.
