Craig Gassman, MS has a strong background in regulatory operations and information systems within the biopharmaceutical industry. Craig currently holds the position of Executive Director of Corporate Information Systems at Vericel Corporation, a role they have assumed since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director and Director of Corporate Information Systems at Vericel Corporation from 2021 to 2022 and the Director of Regulatory Operations and Quality Information Systems from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining Vericel Corporation, Craig Gassman worked as a Regulatory Information Management (RIM) System Consultant at Confidential Biopharmaceutical Company in 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they held the position of Associate Director of Regulatory Informatics, Operations, and Technology at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. Craig also served as the Manager of Regulatory Operations at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. from 2015 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Craig Gassman worked in various regulatory operations roles at Biogen, AVEO Oncology, Amgen, and Sanofi Genzyme. At Biogen, they held the position of Senior Associate II in Regulatory Operations from 2013 to 2015. Craig was a Senior Associate in Regulatory Operations at AVEO Oncology in 2011 and served as a Senior Associate in Regulatory Affairs Operations at Amgen in 2011. Prior to that, they held clinical document publishing and project management roles at Sanofi Genzyme from 2005 to 2011.

Craig Gassman holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Regulatory Affairs (Drugs, Biologics, and Devices) from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Craig also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Craig has obtained certifications as a Taxonomy and Metadata Specialist from AIIM International in 2017, and as a Veeva Vault Certified Administrator (eDMS) from Veeva Systems in both 2016 and 2015.
