Michael Collins

Managing Director, Client Development at Verger Capital Management

Mike is focused on engaging the non-profit community and regularly interacts with institutions, their constituents, consultants, and industry experts. Through this outreach, he seeks to communicate Verger’s ability to support mission-based non-profits and expand the number of institutions he serve.

Prior to joining Verger, Mike led institutional sales within the endowment and foundation space at The Northern Trust Company and TIAA. While at Northern Trust, he was a Senior Vice-President and practice lead for the Northeast US OCIO national practice, responsible for new business development. Prior to joining Northern, Mike was hired by TIAA to start the business development team for the newly formed TIAA OCIO business. As Head of Institutional Sales, he was responsible for the planning, development, and execution of their institutional business.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University. He holds CIMA® and CPWA® certifications, and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Mike volunteers his time to various philanthropic organizations and is currently a member of the Investment Committee of St. Mary School.
