Mariya is currently working as a New Business Manager at Verestro, where they focus on business development for Verestro services in Europe. Their role involves integrating Verestro services, issuing digital and plastic cards, performing online KYC processes, initiating money transfers, managing loyalty programs, and integrating with payment solutions like ApplePay and GooglePay.

Prior to their current position, Mariya was the Founder and Director of Impact Projects, a charity fund providing medical treatment for sick children from Eastern Europe. Mariya was responsible for fundraising and overseeing the operations of the charity fund.

Mariya Lukavska began their education in 2001 at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), where they earned a Masters degree in Public Administration. Mariya then pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2012 to 2013, specializing in Social Psychology with a focus on Ethnic conflicts, genocides, and racism. Most recently, Mariya attended the London Film School from 2018 to 2021, earning a Masters of Arts degree in Film production and directing.
