Astrid Schenk is a seasoned researcher and educator in the field of art history with extensive experience since 2014. Currently serving as a researcher and collection archivist at A.s. for Art and a lecturer in art history at Vrije Academie | Kunst & Cultuur, Astrid also contributes as a freelance journalist for Vereniging Rembrandt and as a freelance archive coach for Podiumkunst.net. Past roles include art historical researcher for the project on facial types in painting and involvement with various institutions such as Limburgs Museum and Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Research Master Art History of the Low Countries from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the same institution.
